As we progress toward the formal launch of "Ice and Stone 2020" on January 1, 2020, we will use this page to announce various developments of the program. The most recent announcements will be listed on top.

JULY 10, 2019

We have registered the web domain halebopp.org. For now this will point to the "Comet Resource Center" at the Earthrise Institute web site, but once the "Ice and Stone 2020" main page is ready for release it will point there.

Alan Hale now has an account on Twitter! (Twitter address is AlanHale20). Beginning now and extending through the course of "Ice and Stone 2020" and beyond, we will use Twitter to announce items and events pertinent to "Ice and Stone 2020" as well as items of high astronomical and space interest and items related to the overall Earthrise mission.
